Announcement for the 8thο Education and Research Conference
The 8th Education and Research Conference will take place from April 5 to 7, 2024, at the Astir Egnatia conference center, in Alexandroupoli.
The organization of the Conference offers the opportunity to highlight the work and collaborations of Clinics and Laboratories, gives space to the presentation of research activities, programs of the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaloniki and the presentation of new technologies in Education. At the same time, selected round tables will be held with a broader interest in the latest in the provision of specialized medical care to the patient with the participation of distinguished speakers, while modern actions regarding the connection with the community will also be discussed.
The Conference is a meeting point for scientists, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, doctors, postgraduate and undergraduate students who serve the Medical Science and at the same time offers the opportunity for discussion with the medical community and health professionals in the wider region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in the context of continuing medical education. The active participation of the Department's Postgraduate Programs allows for more direct communication between the teachers and the participants, doctors and health professionals from all over Greece and abroad.
Last year's success with more than 900 in-person registrations, with participating doctors from the region of Eastern Macedonia Thrace and beyond, is a guarantee for another successful presence.

The deadline for submission of papers is March 10, 2024.
For the submission For research papers, the following are required: presentation title, name, position of person responsible for the presentation, clinic/laboratory/institution and supervisor's name, if it is a supervised paper.
